Rohullah Poya
December 8, 2020
Rohullah Poya joined Pegah High School in spring of 2016. Like many other students who came from low-quality schools, Rohullah also struggled with his academics at Pegah for the first few months. However, soon after, with his personal grit and dedication, he was able to be one of the top students in his class and successfully graduated in winter of 2018. Rohullah was one of the active members of students’ council and had assisted with organizing different events during his time at Pegah.
Right after graduation, instead of taking the Kankor exam, Rohullah started applying for universities outside Afghanistan. Luckily, he was able to get accepted into Economics major at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College in New Delhi, India. Currently, he is in India finishing his second year of college.
